Systems and methods for tokenization of personally identifiable information (PII) and personal health information (PHI)

A computer-implemented method for generating tokenized sensitive data of a data subject, the method implemented using a remote computing device including at least one processor communicatively coupled to a memory device, the method comprising:

• causing a user interface to simultaneously display (i) a list of data elements associated with sensitive data of a data subject, wherein each data element corresponds to a category of the sensitive data and (ii) a list of authorization parameters associated with the list of data elements including a selectable time period restriction specifying a duration during which access to the data elements is authorized;
• receiving, via the user interface, one or more data element inputs representing one or more data elements selected from the list of data elements;
• receiving, via the user interface, one or more authorization parameter inputs representing one or more authorization parameters selected from the list of authorization parameters;
• and
• generating at least one access token based on the one or more data element inputs and the one or more authorization parameter inputs for accessing a set of data of the sensitive data, wherein the at least one generated access token is configured to provide secure access to the set of data of the sensitive data to a service provider within the time period restriction in response to the service provider providing the at least one generated access token for verification, wherein verification comprises validating the access token and confirming that the time period restriction has not expired.

At least one non-transitory computer-readable storage medium having computer-executable instructions stored thereon, wherein when executed by at least one processor of a remote computing device, the computer-executable instructions cause the at least one processor to:

• cause a user interface to simultaneously display (i) a list of data elements associated with sensitive data of a data subject, wherein each data element corresponds to a category of the sensitive data and (ii) a list of authorization parameters associated with the list of data elements including a selectable time period restriction specifying a duration during which access to the data elements is authorized;
• receive, via the user interface, one or more authorization parameter inputs representing one or more authorization parameters selected from the list of authorization parameters;
• and
• generate at least one access token based on the one or more data element inputs and the one or more authorization parameter inputs for accessing a set of data of the sensitive data, wherein the at least one generated access token is configured to provide secure access to the set of data of the sensitive data to a service provider within the time period restriction in response to the service provider providing the at least one generated access token for verification, wherein verification comprises validating the access token and confirming that the time period restriction has not expired.
