A non-transitory computer-readable medium comprising program code that is executable by a processing device for causing the processing device to:
- detect a role change associated with an individual of a plurality of individuals, wherein the plurality of individuals are employees of an organization, and wherein the role change is a change of an employment role of the individual within the organization;
- receive an indication that a computing resource consumption of at least one computer system of a plurality of computer systems exceeds a predefined threshold;
- in response to receiving the indication, predict a time at which the computing resource consumption of the at least one computer system will be beneath the predefined threshold;
- and
- based on predicting the time, prevent an automated process from being initiated prior to the time, wherein the automated process is for adjusting access of the individual to one or more resources, wherein the automated process involves automatically interacting with the plurality of computer systems;
- and
- after an occurrence of the time, and in response to detecting the role change, execute the automated process wherein the automated process involves:
- automatically transmitting a first command to an identity management system of the plurality of computer systems, the first command being configured to cause the identity management system to grant the individual a particular level of access to one or more computer systems, wherein the particular level of access to the one or more computer systems depends on the employment of the individual following the role change;
- automatically transmitting a second command to a workflow software server of the plurality of computer systems, the second command being configured to cause the workflow software server to generate a profile for the individual in the workflow software, wherein the profile depends on employment role of the individual following the role change;
- automatically transmitting a third command to an information asset management server of the plurality of computer systems, the third command being configured to cause the information asset management server to provide the individual with a particular level of access to an active directory, wherein the particular level of access to the active directory depends on employment role of the individual following the role change;
- and
- automatically transmitting a fourth command to an equipment provisioning server of the plurality of computer systems, wherein the fourth command is configured to cause the equipment provisioning server to provision particular equipment for use by the individual, wherein the particular equipment depends on mployment role of the individual following the role change;
- and
- automatically transmitting a fifth command to a building access system of the plurality of computer systems, the fifth command being configured to cause the building access system to provide the individual with physical access to a building.
