Scalable, secure, efficient, and adaptable distributed digital ledger transaction network

A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing instructions thereon that, when executed by at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to:

• receive, by a verification device and from a server device of a distributed digital ledger transaction network, a state data structure stored at the server device, wherein the state data structure represents a snapshot of the distributed digital ledger transaction network for a respective period of time;
• receive, by the verification device and from the server device, transaction data stored at the server device, wherein the transaction data represents the snapshot, the verification device comprising one of a plurality of verification devices, each receiving respective state data structures and respective transaction data representing respective snapshots;
• verify, by the verification device, the state data structure and the transaction data to determine verified data reflecting a partial historical representation of the distributed digital ledger transaction network for the snapshot;
• and
• transmit the verified data to a computing device of the distributed digital ledger transaction network for building an aggregated historical representation of the distributed digital ledger transaction network, the computing device comprising a computer node of the distributed digital ledger transaction network and receiving respective verified data from each of the plurality of verification devices.

A system comprising:

• at least one processor;
• and
• at least one non-transitory computer-readable medium storing instructions thereon that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the system to:
• receive, by a verification device and from a server device of a distributed digital ledger transaction network, a state data structure stored at the server device, wherein the state data structure represents a snapshot of the distributed digital ledger transaction network for a respective period of time;
• receive, by the verification device and from the server device, transaction data stored at the server device, wherein the transaction data represents the snapshot, the verification device comprising one of a plurality of verification devices, each receiving respective state data structures and respective transaction data representing respective snapshots;
• verify, by the verification device, the state data structure and the transaction data to determine verified data reflecting a partial historical representation of the distributed digital ledger transaction network for the snapshot;
• and
• transmit the verified data to a computing device of the distributed digital ledger transaction network for building an aggregated historical representation of the distributed digital ledger transaction network, the computing device comprising a computer node of the distributed digital ledger transaction network and receiving respective verified data from each of the plurality of verification devices.
