Device and method for providing power-saving management for each space

A device comprising:

• at least one memory storing one or more instructions and identification information for each of one or more first devices corresponding to a first space and identification information for each of one or more second devices corresponding to a second space different from the first space;
• and
• at least one processor configured to execute the one or more instructions,
• wherein the one or more instructions, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the device to:
• classify a first device of the one or more first devices into an absence estimation group and store, in the at least one memory, information indicating that the first device is classified as the absence estimation group, together with the identification information for the first device,
• classify a second device of the one or more second devices into an occupancy estimation group and store, in the at least one memory, information indicating that the second device is classified as the occupancy estimation group, together with the identification information for the second device,
• obtain a first signal related to the first device of the one or more first devices,
• obtain a second signal after obtaining the first signal, wherein the second signal is related to the second device of the one or more second devices, and
• based on obtaining the second signal, set each of the one or more first devices to a power saving state.
