Control device having control member returnable to neutral position

A control device comprising:

• a housing having a plurality of engagement receiving portions at an inner peripheral side of the housing;
• a control member partially housed in the housing, the control member including a shaft portion extending in a first direction, the control member being configured to be tilted to turn about a first turn axis intersecting the first direction;
• a return member housed in the housing, the return member being configured to apply a return force to the control member in order to return the control member to a neutral position;
• an urging member housed in the housing, the urging member being configured to apply the return force, along an urging direction, via the return member to the control member;
• and
• a first turn detection section configured to detect a tilting operation of the control member, wherein
• the return member includes:
• a bottom portion in contact with an end portion of the control member in the first direction;
• and
• a first receiving portion provided around the bottom portion, the first receiving portion receiving an end of the urging member, the first receiving portion having a plurality of engaging portions provided at an outer peripheral side of the first receiving portion, wherein a number of the plurality of engaging portions is three or more,
• the urging member applies the return force to the control member while causing the plurality of engaging portions to elastically engage the housing, and
• surfaces inclined with respect to the urging direction are formed at:
• the plurality of engagement receiving portions;
• the plurality of engaging portions;
• or
• the plurality of engagement receiving portions and the plurality of engaging portions.
