Abstract
A display apparatus according to an embodiment of this specification includes a display panel including a display area and a non-display area. It includes a light control film on the display panel and a cover member on the light control film. The light control film of the display apparatus according to an embodiment of this specification includes a plurality of louver layers and a reinforcing layer on the plurality of louver layers for improving appearance quality, reliability, and viewing angle luminance.
Claims20
A display apparatus including a display area and a non-display area, comprising:
- a display panel;
- a light control film on the display panel;
- and
- a cover member on the light control film, wherein the light control film comprises a plurality of louver layers and a reinforcing layer on the plurality of the louver layers,
- wherein the plurality of louver layers have a columnar shape of which a width increases in a direction from a bottom of the columnar shape closer to the display panel to a top of the columnar shape closer to the cover member,
- wherein each of the plurality of louver layers has a concave upper portion, and
- wherein the reinforcing layer fills the concave upper portions of the plurality of louver layers.
A display apparatus including a display area and a non-display area, comprising:
- a display panel;
- a light control film on the display panel;
- and
- a cover member on the light control film,
- wherein the light control film comprises a louver layer, the cover member comprises at least one shielding layer, and the louver layer and the shielding layer have a same color,
- wherein the louver layer includes a plurality of louver layers each having a columnar shape of which a width increases in a direction from a bottom of the columnar shape closer to the display panel to a top of the columnar shape closer to the cover member,
- wherein each of the plurality of louver layers has a concave upper portion, and
- wherein the light control film further comprises a reinforcing layer on the plurality of louver layers that fills the concave upper portions of the plurality of louver layers.
