A method of regulating aerodynamic loads on an aerostructure experiencing aerodynamic loads while in motion, the aerostructure comprising an outer shell having at least one aperture, a first inner shell having an aperture therethrough, and a second inner shell having an aperture therethrough, the respective inner shell apertures extending azimuthally around a portion of the respective inner shell, the first inner shell and the second inner shell overlapping, such that the inner shell apertures form a relative azimuthal aperture, the method comprising:
- altering a rotational alignment of the inner shells with respect to the outer shell to alter aerodynamic bleed through at least one aperture of the outer shell.
