Hinge mechanism and electronic device

An electronic device comprising:

• a first housing;
• a second housing;
• a flexible display that continuously covers the first housing, the second housing, and a hinge mechanism, fastened to the first housing and the second housing, and comprising a foldable part,
• wherein the hinge mechanism is disposed opposite to the foldable part and is configured to unfold or fold the electronic device, wherein the first housing and the second housing are disposed on two opposite sides of the hinge mechanism, and wherein the hinge mechanism comprises:
• comprising a first side, a second side, and a rotating support member, wherein the rotating support member comprises:
• a third side;
• a fourth side;
• a first end part;
• a second end part;
• a fifth gear surface disposed at the first end part;
• and
• a sixth gear surface disposed at the second end part;
• a first housing mounting bracket disposed on the first side and fastened to the first housing;
• a second housing mounting bracket disposed on the second side and fastened to the second housing;
• and
• a synchronization assembly located between the first housing mounting bracket and the second housing mounting bracket and comprising:
• a first gear assembly comprising:
• a first gear connecting rod disposed on the third side and comprising:
• a first gear facing the first end part and comprising a first gear surface engaged with the fifth gear surface;
• and
• a first connecting rod slidably coupled to the first housing mounting bracket;
• and
• a third gear connecting rod comprising:
• a third gear comprising a third gear surface;
• and
• a third connecting rod rotatably coupled to the first gear connecting rod;
• and
• a second gear assembly comprising:
• a second gear connecting rod disposed on the fourth side and comprising:
• a second gear facing the second end part and comprising a second gear surface engaged with the sixth gear surface;
• and
• a second connecting rod slidably coupled to the second housing mounting bracket;
• and
• a fourth gear connecting rod comprising:
• a fourth gear comprising a fourth gear surface engaged with the third gear surface;
• and
• a fourth connecting rod rotatably coupled to the second gear connecting rod.
