Diaphragm pump, liquid discharge head, and liquid discharge apparatus

A diaphragm pump comprising:

• a piezoelectric member configured to deform when a voltage is applied;
• a diaphragm having surfaces and configured to deform in response to deformation of the piezoelectric member;
• a supporting member configured to support the diaphragm;
• and
• an electrode plate positioned between the piezoelectric member and the diaphragm and configured to supply electrical power to the piezoelectric member,
• wherein a space is formed between the diaphragm and the supporting member, and fluid is made to flow by changing a volume of the space by deforming the diaphragm,
• wherein the surfaces of the diaphragm include a first surface facing the space and configured to deform in response to deformation of the piezoelectric member and include
• a second surface that is offset with the first surface,
• wherein the diaphragm is bonded to the supporting member at the second surface, the electrode plate and the diaphragm are laminated in an axial direction, and, in the axial direction, an outer peripheral edge of the electrode plate is aligned with the second surface, and
• wherein a part of the diaphragm extends further outward than the second surface in a direction intersecting with the axial direction.
