Abstract
A cutting tool is a cutting tool comprising a substrate and a coating film disposed on the substrate, in which the coating film includes a first layer, the first layer is composed of an alternate layer where a first unit layer and a second unit layer are alternately stacked, the first unit layer is composed of AlaCr1-a-bCebN, a is 0.400 or more and 0.800 or less, b is 0.001 or more and 0.100 or less, the second unit layer is composed of AlcTi1-cN, c is 0.30 or more and 0.75 or less, and a and c satisfy a relationship of a>c.
Claims15
A cutting tool comprising a substrate and a coating film disposed on the substrate, wherein
- the coating film includes a first layer,
- the first layer is composed of between 100 and 400 alternating layers where first unit layers and second unit layers are alternately stacked,
- each first unit layer is composed of AlaCr1-a-bCebN,
- a is 0.400 or more and 0.800 or less,
- b is 0.001 or more and 0.100 or less,
- each second unit layer is composed of AlcTi1-cN,
- c is 0.30 or more and 0.75 or less,
- a and c satisfy a relationship of a>c, and
- in each of the first unit layers and the second unit layers adjacent to the first unit layers, a ratio λ1/λ2 of a thickness λ1 of a corresponding first unit layer to a thickness λ2 of a corresponding second unit layer is 1.1 or more and 5.0 or less.
A cutting tool comprising a substrate and a coating film disposed on the substrate, wherein
- the coating film includes a first A layer,
- the first A layer is composed of between 100 and 400 alternating unit layers an where first unit layers and third unit layers are alternately stacked,
- each first unit layer is composed of AlaCr1-a-bCebN,
- a is 0.400 or more and 0.800 or less,
- b is 0.001 or more and 0.100 or less,
- each third unit layer is composed of AldTi1-d-eMeN,
- M is silicon or boron,
- d is 0.30 or more and 0.75 or less,
- e is more than 0 and 0.05 or less, and
- a and d satisfy a relationship of a>d.
