Abstract
A Co-based superelastic alloy material contains a Co—Cr—Al—Si-based alloy and has a composition (at. %) within a pentagon area on the Co—Cr—(Al,Si) pseudo-ternary phase diagram, and containing Al: 2.5 at. % to 10.0 at. % and Si: 2.5 at. % to 13.0 at. %, the pentagon area being formed of five points of point A: Co49.5Cr27.5(Al,Si)23, point B: Co57Cr27.5(Al,Si)13.5, point C: Co50Cr45(Al,Si)5, point D: Co45Cr45(Al,Si)10, and point E: Co45Cr32(Al,Si)23.

A Co-based superelastic alloy material comprising:
- a Co—Cr—Al—Si-based alloy, wherein
- the Co-based superelastic alloy material has a composition (at. %) within a pentagon area on the Co—Cr—(Al,Si) pseudo-ternary phase diagram, and containing Al:
- 2.5 at. % to 10.0 at. % and Si:
- 2.5 at. % to 13.0 at. %, the pentagon area being formed of five points of point A:
- CO49.5Cr27.5 (Al,Si)23, point B:
- Co57Cr27.5 (Al,Si)15.5, point C:
- Co50Cr45 (Al,Si)5, point D:
- Co45Cr45 (Al,Si)10, and point E:
- Co45Cr32 (Al,Si)23.
