Abstract
To provide a polyester recycling system including: a functional layer removing means of removing a functional layer from a laminated polyester film including a polyester film having on a surface thereof the functional layer as a recovered waste material, with a cleaning agent dissolving the polyester film; a recovery means of recovering the polyester film, from which the functional layer has been removed; and a production means of producing a recycled polyester product with the recovered polyester film as a raw material.
Claims17
A polyester recycling system comprising:
- a tank to remove a functional layer from a laminated polyester film including a polyester film having on a surface thereof the functional layer as a recovered waste material, by immersing the laminated polyester film with a cleaning agent dissolving the polyester film;
- a winding roll to continuously wind up the polyester film if the polyester film is a roll form, or a belt conveyer if the polyester film is in a flake form to recover the polyester film, from which the functional layer has been removed, to produce a recovered polyester film;
- and
- wherein the functional layer comprises at least one selected from the group consisting of a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, a hard coat layer, a release layer, a decorative layer, a light shielding layer, an ultraviolet ray shielding layer, an adhesion promoting layer, an antistatic layer, a refractive index regulating layer, and an oligomer blocking layer,
- the functional layer and the polyester film are directly in contact to each other before the removing the functional layer, and
- the cleaning agent comprises a benzyl alcohol.
A polyester recycling method comprising:
- recovering a laminated polyester film including a polyester film having on a surface thereof a functional layer as a waste material;
- removing the functional layer from the laminated polyester film, with a cleaning agent dissolving the polyester film;
- recovering the polyester film, from which the functional layer has been removed;
- and
- producing a recycled polyester product with the polyester film recovered in the recovering as a raw material,
- wherein the functional layer comprises at least one selected from the group consisting of a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, a hard coat layer, a release layer, a decorative layer, a light shielding layer, an ultraviolet ray shielding layer, an adhesion promoting layer (primer layer), an antistatic layer, a refractive index regulating layer, and an oligomer blocking layer,
- the functional layer and the polyester film are directly in contact to each other before the removing the functional layer, and
- the cleaning agent comprises a benzyl alcohol.
