Abstract
An oil-resistant agent containing an amide compound including a bio-based material modified with a long-chain hydrocarbon group having 7 to 40 carbon atoms and an amide group. Also disclosed is a fiber product containing the amide compound, and a water dispersion containing the amide compound.
Claims13
An oil-resistant agent, comprising:
- an amide compound, the amide compound obtained by modifying a bio-based material by reacting the bio-based material with a long-chain hydrocarbon group having 7 to 40 carbon atoms,
- wherein the oil-resistant agent is configured to be applied to a substrate,
- wherein the amide compound has the long-chain hydrocarbon group having 7 to 40 carbon atoms, and an amide group, and
- wherein the bio-based material is selected from the group consisting of a sugar, an alcohol, an amino acid, a peptide compound, a nucleobase, a nucleic acid, an alkaloid compound, a steroid compound, a hormone, a polyphenol, and a vitamin.

A water dispersion, comprising:
- an amide compound, the amide compound obtained by modifying a bio-based material by reacting the bio-based material with a long-chain hydrocarbon group having 7 to 40 carbon atoms,
- wherein the amide compound has the long-chain hydrocarbon group having 7 to 40 carbon atoms, and an amide group, and
- wherein the bio-based material is selected from the group consisting of a sugar, an alcohol, an amino acid, a peptide compound, a nucleobase, a nucleic acid, an alkaloid compound, a steroid compound, a hormone, a polyphenol, and a vitamin.
