Abstract
Aspects of the application provide anti-hemojuvelin antibodies and methods of using the same in treating myelofibrosis and/or conditions associated with myelofibrosis.
Claims30
A method of treating anemia in a subject having myelofibrosis, the method comprising:
- administering to the subject every 4 weeks or once every month an effective amount of a composition comprising an isolated antibody that binds to human hemojuvelin (HJV) and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier, wherein the isolated antibody comprise:
- a heavy chain comprising the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 117, and a light chain comprising the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 62.
A method of treating anemia in a subject having myelofibrosis, the method comprising:
- administering to the subject every 4 weeks or once every month an effective amount of a composition comprising an isolated antibody that binds to human hemojuvelin (HJV) and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier, wherein the isolated antibody comprises:
- a heavy chain comprising the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 61, and a light chain comprising the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 62.
A method of treating anemia in a subject having myelofibrosis, the method comprising administering to the subject every 4 weeks or once every month an effective amount of a composition comprising:
- (i) an isolated anti-human hemojuvelin (HJV) antibody comprising a heavy chain comprising the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 61, and a light chain comprising the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 62;
- (ii) an isolated anti-human hemojuvelin (HJV) antibody comprising a heavy chain comprising the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 117, and a light chain comprising the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 62,
- (iii) an isolated anti-human HJV antibody comprising a heavy chain that comprises the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 131, and a light chain that comprises the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 62;
- and/or
- (iv) an isolated anti-human HJV antibody comprising a heavy chain that comprises the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 130, and a light chain that comprises the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 62;
- wherein the composition further comprises a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.
