Pure water systems

A water filter system comprising:

• a tank having an inner surface, a first port, and a first reservoir, the tank defining a single chamber configured to receive water flow from the first port and the first reservoir;
• a cover assembly removably attachable to and forming a fluid tight connection with the tank when attached to the tank, the cover assembly having a second reservoir and a second port to receive the water flow from the single chamber;
• a base;
• one or more wheels operably coupled to the base and configured to allow movement of the water filter system during use;
• and
• a single porous filter bag having a purification media disposed therein, the single porous filter bag being positioned in the single chamber and engaging the inner surface of the tank between the base and the cover assembly,
• wherein the porous filter bag is made from a material that maintains the purification media under compression and operable to purify water after a 20% reduction in volume of the purification media due to use of the purification media for purification of the water flow through the single chamber,
• wherein the cover assembly comprises a handle and a release assembly and wherein the release assembly comprises a pressure releasing plunger and a pivot lever movable between a first position and a second position, wherein when transitioning from the first position to the second position the pressure releasing plunger is configured to vent pressure from the tank and a locking arm is withdrawn from a slot to unlock the cover assembly from the tank, the handle of the cover assembly being positioned proximate an end of the pivot lever such that the handle shields fluid spray that results from said venting of the pressure.
