Abstract
Provided is a sheet feed device that sequentially feeds sheets from an uppermost sheet of a bundle of stacked sheets, the sheet feed device including: a bottom plate that supports a lower surface of the bundle of sheets; and an elastic member that is directly or indirectly disposed on the bottom plate and urges the bottom plate upward, in which the elastic member includes support force adjustment members that can adjust moment force applied to a first position of the elastic member.

A sheet feed device that sequentially feeds sheets from an uppermost sheet of a bundle of stacked sheets, the sheet feed device comprising:
- a bottom plate that supports a lower surface of the bundle of sheets;
- and
- a spring that is directly or indirectly disposed on the bottom plate and urges the bottom plate upward, wherein
- the spring is installed below a sheet stacking portion on which the sheets are stacked, wherein
- the sheet feed device further comprises a block installed below the sheet stacking portion, and wherein
- the spring and the block are configured to adjust moment force applied to a first position of the spring, and wherein
- the spring and the block are integrated as one unit, and the unit is fixed to a base portion by a magnetic force.
