Abstract
A tailgate assembly for a roll-off container includes a tailgate hinge that is operable to attach a tailgate to a container such that the tailgate is movable between an open position and a closed position. A sealing material located between the container and the tailgate when the tailgate is in the closed position.
Claims8
A tailgate assembly for a roll-off container, comprising:
- a rectilinear tailgate;
- a tailgate hinge that is operable to attach the tailgate to a rectilinear container such that the tailgate is movable between an open position and a closed position about a hinge axis parallel to a top of the rectilinear tailgate;
- a seal located between the container and the tailgate when the tailgate is in the closed position, an opening in the tailgate within the perimeter defined by the seal, the opening selectively opened and closed, wherein the opening comprises a first rear pipe flange, the first rear pipe flange comprises a first rear pipe flange warming channel connected to a tailgate warming tube loop, the tailgate warming tube loop circulates a heating fluid through the tailgate warming tube loop wherein the heating fluid enters the tailgate warming tube loop through an entrance and exits the tailgate warming tube loop through an exit;
- and
- a vertical latch to maintain the tailgate in the closed position with respect to the rectilinear container.

- a tailgate hinge that is operable to attach the tailgate to a rectilinear container such that the tailgate is movable between an open position and a closed position about a hinge axis parallel to a top of the rectilinear tailgate;
