Abstract
An intelligent robot includes at least one accessory to measure activity and state in proximity to the robot; an air filtration module housed in a casing made of a UV blocking material; and a control center to analyze output of the at least one accessory, to recognize a known target user according to the analysis and to control functionality of the robot and the air filtration module for the known target user according to saved preferences for the known target user.
Claims13
An intelligent, multi-function robot for autonomous movement comprising:
- a UV radiation resistant housing built into the robot and a UV air filter positioned within the housing for disinfecting air entering into the robot and providing clean air to blow out from the robot;
- wherein the UV radiation resistant housing comprises UV blocking materials, operable to protect the robot and a targeted person or persons from UV radiation when the UV air filter is operating, thereby allowing the targeted person or persons to be in the same room as the UV air filter when the UV air filtering is operating, and
- a fan for directing air flow through the UV air filter and to outflow the airflow through the air filter being placed to direct the clean air directly towards a targeted person and direction, and an intake of the airflow positioned away from the outflow of the airflow
- a control center;
- and,
- at least one accessory to provide an input to the control center;
- wherein the control center, based on the input, is configured to:
- recognize a targeted single person, multiple persons, single direction or multiple directions;
- and,
- orient the multi-function robot towards the target person, or direction;
- wherein the control center comprises a mode controller configured to:
- perform operations based on current checks and responses to a current status check to manage mode operations;
- and
- manage a single targeted person, multiple targeted persons, a single targeted direction or multiple targeted directions
- wherein the mode controller managing multiple targeted persons or directions comprises at least three of a midpoint mode, a closest person mode, a priority user mode, an interval switching mode, an oscillatory mode, and a largest coverage mode;
- and
- wherein the midpoint mode comprises the robot managing multiple targeted persons or directions and facing a midpoint between the targeted persons or directions, and
- wherein the closest person mode comprises the robot managing multiple targeted persons or directions and facing toward the closest targeted person of the multiple targeted persons or directions, and
- wherein the priority user mode comprises the robot managing multiple targeted persons or directions and facing towards a targeted person deemed a priority user of the targeted persons or directions, and
- wherein the interval switching mode comprises the robot managing multiple targeted persons or directions and facing each targeted person or direction for a set or variable time interval, and switching between the targeted persons or directions, and
- wherein the oscillatory mode comprises the robot managing multiple targeted persons or directions and oscillating the span of the targeted persons or directions, and
- wherein the largest coverage mode comprises the robot managing multiple targeted persons or directions and facing the largest cluster of targeted persons or directions.
