Measurement station and system for assessing the functional age of a user

A measurement station for assessing the functional age of a user, said measurement station comprising:

• at least one display and/or a loudspeaker;
• at least one controller configured to present, via said display and/or said loudspeaker, a plurality of instructions which guide a user to perform a method comprising:
• conducting a first test adapted to assess a current level of mobility of at least one part of the body of the user;
• conducting a second test designed to assess a current level of the balance ability of the user;
• using a camera configured to capture and send to the controller one or more images of the user when conducting said first and second tests:
• wherein said at least one controller is further configured to perform a method comprising:
• (a) schematizing the user's body with a structure consisting of segments that are connected to each other by reference nodes;
• (b) calculating a first functional age value based on the one or more images captured by comparing nodes extracted from the one or more images captured while performing the first test with said reference nodes, and a second functional age value based on the one or more images captured while performing the second test, and thereafter calculating an overall functional age value of the user at least based on said first and second functional age values or send said first and second calculated functional age values to a remote controller configured to calculate an overall functional age value of the user at least based on said first and second functional age values sent;
• and
• (c):
• sending data related to said one or more images captured during the execution of the first test and the second test to a remote controller configured to calculate a first and a second functional age values based on the data related to the one or more images captured during the execution of the first and second tests, respectively, and an overall functional age value of the user at least based on said first and second calculated functional age values.
