Outsoles for articles of footwear

An article of footwear comprising:

• an upper and a sole structure directly coupled to the upper around a lower periphery of the upper and configured to support a wearer's foot, wherein the sole structure comprises a midsole directly coupled to the upper around the entire lower periphery of the upper and an outsole, and wherein:
• the outsole comprises a base layer, an outermost layer, and an intermediate layer disposed between the base layer and the outermost layer;
• the base layer comprises a first printed material arranged in a contiguous trace path comprising a plurality of substantially straight portions and a plurality of serpentine portions directly connected to the plurality of substantially straight portions, wherein the contiguous trace path extends a length from a first terminal end to a second terminal end, and wherein the first printed material includes a deposition directly in contact with the midsole and includes a first width;
• the outermost layer comprises a second printed material arranged along and aligned with the contiguous trace path substantially from the first terminal end to the second terminal end, wherein the second printed material is deposited onto the base layer and includes a second width, the second width being less than the first width;
• and
• the intermediate layer comprises a third printed material and includes a third width that is less than the first width of the base layer,
• wherein each substantially straight portion of the plurality of substantially straight portions extends from a heel region of the article of footwear to a forefoot region of the article of footwear, and is disposed along a middle portion of the outsole relative to a medial-lateral direction.
