Abstract
An agrochemical concentrate comprises lecithin and at least one agrochemical active. The agrochemical concentrate may also comprise a dispersant selected from sucrose ester, alkylpolyglucoside, alkylnaphthalene sulphonates, phosphate ester, sorbitol ester, polyglycerol ester, alkyl sulphates, sodium lauryl sulphate, alkylglucamides, and dialkyl sulphosuccinates. An aqueous formulation comprises a dilution of the agrochemical concentrate in an electrolyte. A pre-blend comprises lecithin and a dispersant. A method of preparing the agrochemical concentrate and a method for treating vegetation are also disclosed.
Claims13
A homogeneous agrochemical concentrate consisting of:
- 3.0 to 8% by weight of phosphatidyl inositol enriched de-oiled lecithin;
- a C8-C10 alkylpolyglucoside and/or a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether phosphate dispersant;
- water and/or an organic solvent;
- an antimicrobial selected from the group consisting of sodium 2-phenylphenate and 1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one;
- a polysiloxane;
- a styrene acrylate copolymer and/or a styrene acrylate AMPS copolymer;
- and
- a biocide selected from the group consisting of fungicides, insecticides, herbicides and mixtures thereof,
- wherein the alkylpolyglucoside and/or polyoxyethylene alkyl ether phosphate dispersant is present in an amount of 0.8 to 4 wt % relative to the total weight of the concentrate.
