Abstract
A lure includes a hollow body including a first half-body and a second half-body joined to the first half-body, an oscillating element disposed in the body so as to be capable of oscillating, a first shaft portion disposed on at least one of the first half-body or the second half-body and extending toward the other of the first half-body or the second half-body, and a first spring including a first engagement portion engaging the first shaft portion such that rotation about the first shaft portion is restricted, and connected to and supporting the oscillating element such that the oscillating element is capable of oscillating.
Claims17
A lure, comprising:
- a hollow body including a first half-body and a second half-body joined to the first half-body;
- an oscillating element disposed in the body so as to be capable of oscillating;
- a first shaft portion disposed on at least one of the first half-body or the second half-body and extending toward an other of the first half-body or the second half-body, the first shaft portion including a flat surface on an outer perimeter thereof;
- and
- a first spring including a first engagement portion having a straight portion, the straight portion of the first engagement portion being parallel to and engaging the flat surface of the first shaft portion and extending at least partially around the first shaft portion such that engagement between the first shaft portion and the first engagement portion restricts rotation of the first spring about the first shaft portion, the flat surface of the first shaft portion facing in a direction away from a majority of the first spring, and the first spring connected to and supporting the oscillating element such that the oscillating element is capable of oscillating.
