Provided is a canola variety designated 19MM0844N and seed, plants and plant parts thereof produced from a cross of inbred varieties. Methods for producing a canola variety comprise crossing canola variety 19MM0844N with another canola plant. Methods for producing a canola plant containing in its genetic material one or more traits introgressed into 19MM0844N through backcross conversion and/or transformation, and to the canola seed, plant and plant part produced thereby are described. Canola variety 19MM0844N, the seed, the plant produced from the seed, plant parts and variants, mutants, and minor modifications of canola variety 19MM0844N are disclosed.
A seed of hybrid canola variety 19MM0844N, produced by crossing a first plant of variety 4PTWL03A with a second plant of variety 4PWGT51R, wherein representative seeds of the varieties 4PTWL03A and 4PWGT51R have been deposited under NCMA Accession Numbers 202309005 and 202309004, respectively.
A seed of hybrid canola variety 19MM0844N further comprising a single locus conversion, wherein a plant grown from the seed comprises a trait conferred by the single locus conversion, wherein the seed is produced by crossing a first plant of variety 4PTWL03A with a second plant of variety 4PWGT51R, wherein the first plant, the second plant or both further comprise the single locus conversion, wherein representative seeds of the varieties 4PTWL03A and 4PWGT51R have been deposited under NCMA Accession Numbers 202309005 and 202309004, respectively, and wherein the seed produces a plant comprising the single locus conversion and otherwise comprises all the physiological and morphological characteristics of canola variety 19MM0844N when grown under the same environmental conditions.
A method for producing a hybrid canola variety 19MM0844N seed further comprising a locus conversion, the method comprising crossing a first plant of variety 4PTWL03A with a second plant of variety 4PWGT51R, representative seeds of the varieties 4PTWL03A and 4PWGT51R having been deposited under NCMA Accession Numbers 202309005 and 202309004, respectively, wherein at least one of the varieties 4PTWL03A and 4PWGT51R further comprises the locus conversion.
