Abstract
Apparatuses, methods, and systems are disclosed for configuring a shared group specific beam. One method includes receiving, at a user equipment, a first configuration from a network device for a shared UE beam based on a downlink (DL) beam and an associated beam identifier (ID) that is group specific. The method includes receiving uplink control information (UCI) from the network device. The method includes receiving a second configuration from the network device. The second configuration includes information for reporting to the network device.
Claims20
A user equipment (UE), comprising:
- at least one memory;
- and
- at least one processor coupled with the at least one memory and configured to cause the UE to:
- receive a first configuration from a network device for a shared UE beam based on a downlink (DL) beam and an associated beam identifier (ID) that is group specific;
- receive a second configuration from the network device, wherein the second configuration comprises information for reporting to the network device.
A processor for wireless communication, comprising:
- at least one controller coupled with at least one memory and configured to cause the processor to:
- receive a first configuration from a network device for a shared user equipment (UE) beam based on a downlink (DL) beam and an associated beam identifier (ID) that is group specific;
- receive a second configuration from the network device, wherein the second configuration comprises information for reporting to the network device.
An apparatus for performing a network function, the apparatus comprising:
- at least one memory;
- and
- at least one processor coupled with the at least one memory and configured to cause the apparatus to:
- transmit a first configuration to a user equipment (UE) for a shared UE beam based on a downlink (DL) beam and an associated beam identifier (ID) that is group specific;
- transmit a second configuration to the UE, wherein the second configuration comprises information for reporting to the apparatus.
A method performed by a user equipment (UE), the method comprising:
- receiving a first configuration from a network device for a shared UE beam based on a downlink (DL) beam and an associated beam identifier (ID) that is group specific;
- receiving a second configuration from the network device, wherein the second configuration comprises information for reporting to the network device.
