Abstract
A motor device includes a motor housing, a stator coil, and a temperature sensor. The motor housing accommodates the stator coil and the temperature sensor. In the motor housing, motor fins are provided on a motor outer peripheral surface. The motor fins are provided on a radially outer side of the stator coil. The temperature sensor is provided on a radially inner side of the stator coil. In the motor device, heat radiation of the stator coil toward the radially outer side is accelerated by the motor fins such that heat radiated from the stator coil toward the radially outer side is more than heat radiated from the stator coil toward the radially inner side.
Claims10
A rotary electric machine to be driven by supply of electric power, the rotary electric machine comprising:
- a stator including a coil;
- a rotor configured to rotate about a rotation axis and aligned with the stator in an axial direction in which the rotation axis extends;
- an electric machine housing accommodating the stator and the rotor;
- a heat radiation accelerating portion provided on one of an inner side and an outer side of the coil in a radial direction of the rotation axis and configured to accelerate heat radiation of the coil toward one side, such that heat radiated from the coil toward the one side is more than heat radiated toward the other side;
- and
- a temperature detection unit accommodated in the electric machine housing, provided on an opposite side of the coil from the heat radiation accelerating portion in the radial direction, and configured to detect an internal temperature of the electric machine housing, wherein
- the heat radiation accelerating portion is an opposed accelerating portion provided at a position opposed to an outer peripheral surface of the coil on a radially outside of the coil, and
- the temperature detection unit is an opposed detection unit provided at a position opposed to an inner peripheral surface of the coil on a radially inner side of the coil.
A rotary electric machine to be driven by supply of electric power, the rotary electric machine comprising:
- a stator including a coil;
- a rotor configured to rotate about a rotation axis and aligned with the stator in an axial direction in which the rotation axis extends;
- an electric machine housing accommodating the stator and the rotor;
- a heat radiation accelerating portion provided on one of an inner side and an outer side of the coil in a radial direction of the rotation axis and configured to accelerate heat radiation of the coil toward one side, such that heat radiated from the coil toward the one side is more than heat radiated toward the other side;
- a temperature detection unit accommodated in the electric machine housing, provided on an opposite side of the coil from the heat radiation accelerating portion in the radial direction, and configured to detect an internal temperature of the electric machine housing;
- a plurality of coil bodies each including a wound coil wire and arranged in a circumferential direction of the rotation axis, such that the coil wire forms the coil;
- and
- a temperature communication line provided to extend in the radial direction, passing between two of the coil bodies, which are adjacent to each other in the circumferential direction, and communicably connected to the temperature detection unit, wherein
- the coil body includes a bobbin configured to support the coil wire,
- the bobbin includes
- a pair of bobbin flanges each extending in a direction orthogonal to the axial direction and arranged in the axial direction, and
- a bobbin trunk portion connecting the pair of bobbin flanges and configured to support the wound coil wire between the pair of bobbin flanges, and
- the temperature communication line is an entry wire, which extends in the radial direction, and passing through a position, at which the temperature communication line enters between the pair of bobbin flanges, in one of the two coil bodies, which are adjacent to each other in the circumferential direction.
