Doors and systems for control of internet of things (IOT) devices and methods thereof

An entry device having a wireless component, comprising:

• a door assembly comprising a door and a door frame,
• the door assembly having a plurality of wireless protocol components,
• wherein the plurality of wireless protocol components comprise:
• one or both of a wireless power transfer system (WPTS) transmitter configured to wirelessly transmit power and a WPTS receiver configured to receive wireless power from a WPTS power source;
• at least two Internet of Things (IoT) devices,
• wherein the at least two Internet of Things (IoT) devices are integrated within the door and configured to wirelessly communicate with each other through the door;
• and
• a controller configured to automatically cause the WPTS transmitter to cease transmitting power to at least one IoT device from among the at least two IoT devices to automatically disable said at least one IoT device.
