Battery pack, and automotive vehicle comprising same

A battery pack comprising:

• a plurality of battery modules;
• a cooling pipe configured to supply a cooling liquid to the plurality of battery modules;
• a tray comprising a cooling liquid receiver into which a cooling liquid leaking out from the cooling pipe flows, the plurality of battery modules being seated on the tray;
• a pair of side covers covering opposite end portions in a width direction of the tray;
• and
• a pipe receiver coupled to the tray and surrounding the cooling pipe to accommodate the cooling pipe therein,
• wherein the cooling liquid receiver comprises a cooling liquid inlet formed in the tray to provide direct fluid communication with the pipe receiver and through which the cooling liquid leaking out from the cooling pipe flows into the cooling liquid receiver, and
• wherein the tray further comprises:
• a mount plate directly contacting the plurality of battery modules, and having an end portion in a width direction spaced apart from the pair of side covers forming the cooling liquid inlet;
• and
• a base plate spaced apart from a lower portion of the mount plate and forming the cooling liquid receiver in which the cooling liquid flowing through the cooling liquid inlet is accommodated.
