Abstract
A system and method for controlling vehicles and for providing assistance to operated vehicles is discussed and described herein.
Claims20
A system for controlling a vehicle, comprising:
- a controller disposed in the vehicle and configured to interface with a plurality of highway control units;
- the controller configured to receive data from a proximity server coupled to each of the highway control units;
- the controller configured to receive data from an automated highway control system coupled to the proximity server and configured to interactively communicate with each of the highway control units through the proximity server;
- and
- the controller configured to receive data from a database coupled to the proximity server and configured to receive and store data from each of the highway control units.

- using a vehicle controller to interface with a plurality of highway control units;
- the vehicle controller configured to receive data from a proximity server coupled to each of the highway control units;
- the vehicle controller configured to receive data from an automated highway control system coupled to the proximity server and configured to interactively communicate with each of the highway control units through the proximity server;
- and
- the vehicle controller configured to receive data from a database coupled to the proximity server and configured to receive and store data from each of the highway control units.
