Electronic pen

An electronic pen comprising:

• a pen housing;
• a first position indication portion arranged on a first end side of the pen housing in an axial direction of the pen housing;
• a second position indication portion arranged on a second end side of the pen housing in the axial direction;
• and
• a knock cam mechanism portion driven by a load in the axial direction applied from the second end side in the axial direction,
• wherein the first position indication portion is arranged such that a front end side that indicates a position is able to be pushed in and out by the knock cam mechanism portion from an opening on the first end side of the pen housing in the axial direction, and
• wherein the second position indication portion is arranged such that a front end side that indicates a position is located on the second end side in the axial direction;
• and
• an elastic member for the knock cam mechanism portion to push in and out the front end side of the first position indication portion from the opening when a pressure larger than a pressure applied to the front end side of the second position indication portion during use of the second position indication portion is applied to the second end side in the axial direction,
• wherein the knock cam mechanism portion includes an elastic return member that returns a state in which the front end side of the first position indication portion protrudes from the opening to a state in which the front end side of the first position indication portion is housed in the pen housing, and
• wherein the elastic member includes the elastic return member.
