A controller for an actuation device comprising a catch structure actuatable between an inactive state and an activated state, a first sensor, and a second sensor, the catch structure allowing the actuation device to (i) travel through one or more non-target sleeve valve assemblies in a wellbore tubing string when the catch structure is in the inactive state, and (ii) seat in a target sleeve valve assembly when the catch structure is in the activated state, the controller comprising:
- a processor,
- memory having stored thereon processor executable instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to:
- detect, for each non-target sleeve valve assembly and using the first sensor, a first detectable feature associated with the non-target sleeve valve assembly;
- detect, for each non-target sleeve valve assembly using the second sensor, a second detectable feature associated with the non-target sleeve valve assembly;
- and
- increase a sleeve valve assembly count value responsive to detecting the first detectable feature and the second detectable feature within a predetermined time window, wherein the second detectable feature is different from the first detectable feature.
