Mechanism for a door of an electrical household appliance

A mechanism for a door of an electrical household appliance, comprising:

• an opener configured to push open the door, the opener comprising an opener housing, a pusher accommodated in the opener housing, and a drive for the pusher,
• a latch configured to hold the door closed, wherein the latch comprises a latch housing and accommodated therein, at least one movably arranged closing element, wherein the at least one closing element is configured to engage and hold the door closed, with a counter-body approaching the closing element when the door is closed,
• wherein the latch is configured to be inserted into the opener housing, the opener housing and the latch housing each have a coupling section which co-operate to effect a mechanical coupling of the opener housing and the latch housing when the latch is inserted into the opener housing, and
• wherein the opener housing comprises at least a first fastening structure which is adapted to attach the mechanism to the electrical household appliance when the coupling sections of the opener housing and the latch housing are mechanically coupled, wherein the latch housing is configured to be attached to a profile rail of the electrical household appliance via the first fastening structure.
