Abstract
A hoistway module that forms a portion of a hoistway of an elevator installation includes a first side wall having a door opening, a second side wall adjoining the first side wall at an angle other than 180° and a hoistway door arranged in the door opening and having a door sill. The door sill is fixed to the second side wall by a final door sill mount.

A hoistway module for forming a hoistway composed of stacked hoistway modules for an elevator installation, the hoistway module comprising:
- a first side wall having a door opening;
- a second side wall adjoining the first side wall at an angle other than 180°;
- a hoistway door arranged in the door opening and having a door sill;
- and
- wherein the door sill is fixed to the second side wall by a final door sill mount.
