Abstract
A suction pad configured to suck and hold a fruit includes a pad main body made from an elastically deformable member and having a held base end portion; a hollow formed inside the pad main body so as to extend from a base end side to a tip end side; and a hole configured to communicate with the hollow and being open to a tip end portion of the pad main body, and an opening diameter of the suction hole is smaller than an inner diameter of the hollow.

A suction pad for sucking and holding an object, the suction pad comprising:
- a pad main body that is made from an elastically deformable member and has a held base end portion;
- a hollow that is formed inside the pad main body so as to extend from a base end side to a tip end side;
- and
- a suction hole that is configured to communicate with the hollow and is open to a tip end portion of the pad main body,
- wherein an opening diameter of the suction hole is smaller than an inner diameter of the hollow.
