Retail merchandise tray

A retail merchandise tray, comprising:

• a frame providing a retail merchandise support surface extending along a first axis between a front end and a rear end;
• at least one divider assembly movable relative to the frame along a second axis perpendicular to the first axis, the at least one divider assembly including:
• a divider wall;
• at least one wire support, the at least one wire support slidably attaching the divider wall to the frame for movement along the second axis between a retracted orientation and an extended orientation;
• and
• a baffle plate extension connected to the at least one wire support by a slidable connection, the baffle plate extension being slidably supported by the frame providing such that the baffle plate extension is slidable relative to the frame and the at least one wire support, the baffle plate extension being moveable relative to the divider wall along the second axis;
• the at least one divider assembly being configured such that when the divider wall is transitioned to the extended orientation from the retracted orientation the baffle plate extension first moves with the at least one wire support relative to the frame and then stops moving relative to the at least one wire support and the frame prior to the divider wall reaching the extended orientation such that further movement of the divider wall, independent of the baffle plate extension, is required to reach the extended orientation.
