Abstract
An ottoman linkage is provide for use on a high leg seating unit. The ottoman linkage has a lower overall height in the closed position, allowing it to be used on a high leg seating unit, while remaining obscured from sight.
Claims8
An ottoman linkage usable on a high leg seating unit, the ottoman linkage comprising:
- a four-bar linkage, comprising a front ottoman link pivotally coupled to a bracket at an upper pivot point, the four-bar linkage moveable between at least a closed position and an extended position;
- an ottoman bracket coupled to the four-bar linkage;
- and
- a flipper ottoman bracket coupled to the ottoman bracket and the four-bar linkage;
- wherein the ottoman linkage has a mechanism height measured from the upper pivot point to a lower-most extent of the ottoman linkage in the closed position, and wherein the mechanism height is less than 160 millimeters.
