Abstract
Devices for applying compositions, such as curable cosmetic eyelash extension compositions, to eyelashes. A device includes elements for mixing, heating, and extruding the composition from the device, as well as elements for sensing the position of the device and coordinating application of the composition to the eyelashes, during a gesture, based on sensed positions and desired lengths of filaments to be added to the eyelashes. The device includes means for priming eyelashes for receipt of the compositions thereto as well as wireless communications features for interaction with computational devices, such as smartphones.
Claims15
A device for application of a composition to a set of eyelashes, the device comprising:
- a dispensing system, comprising:
- a motor operably connected to a power source, a mixer operably connected to the motor and configured to mix a plurality of formulas to produce the composition, and a pump operably connected to the motor and configured to pump the composition through an internal volume of the device;
- and
- an application system, comprising:
- a heat element operably connected to the power source and configured to heat the composition within the internal volume, and an extruded outlet fluidly connected to the internal volume for extrusion of the composition therefrom.
