A smoking device comprising a housing assembly and a heater arranged in the housing assembly;

• wherein the heater comprises:
• a base having a surface;
• an infrared electrothermal coating, being disposed on the surface of the base;
• the infrared electrothermal coating being configured to generate infrared radiation to heat aerosol-forming matrix to generate aerosol for smoking;
• a conductive module, comprising a first conductive portion and a second conductive portion arranged on the base, both the first conductive portion and the second conductive portion being electrically connected with the infrared electrothermal coating;
• and
• a flexible printed circuit board, comprising a flexible substrate, a first electrode, a second electrode, and connecting components, wherein:
• the flexible substrate further comprises a covering part and an extension part;
• the covering part is configured to cover at least a part of a surface of the base;
• the extension part extends from the covering part away from the base;
• the first electrode is disposed on the covering part of the flexible substrate and is in electrical connection with the first conductive portion;
• the second electrode is disposed on the covering part of the flexible substrate and is in electrical connection with the second conductive portion;
• and
• the connecting components are disposed on the extension part of the flexible substrate and are in electrical connection with the first electrode and the second electrode, the connecting components are spaced apart from the base, and the connecting components are capable to electrically connect with external components.
