• receiving, from a second UE, first inter-UE control information for scheduling of second inter-UE control information and an inter-UE physical shared channel through an inter-UE physical control channel;
• receiving, from the second UE, the second inter-UE control information through the inter-UE physical shared channel;
• and
• based on the first inter-UE control information including no resource assignment information, performing sleep mode operation for M slots after a first slot on which the first inter-UE control information and the second inter-UE control information are received,
• wherein M is obtained by subtracting a number of slots required to complete reception related to the first inter-UE control information and the second inter-UE control information from 32.

A processing device, comprising:

• at least one processor;
• and
• at least one memory connected to the at least one processor and storing instructions that, based on being executed, cause a first user equipment (UE) to perform operations comprising:
• receiving, from a second UE, first inter-UE control information for scheduling of second inter-UE control information and an inter-UE physical shared channel through an inter-UE physical control channel;
• receiving, from the second UE, the second inter-UE control information through the inter-UE physical shared channel;
• and
• based on the first inter-UE control information including no resource assignment information, performing sleep mode operation for M slots after a first slot on which the first inter-UE control information and the second inter-UE control information are received,
