Methods and systems for providing enhanced network slice allocation

A network slice subnet management service (NSS MnS) provider entity in a wireless communication system, the NSS MnS provider entity comprising:

• a transceiver;
• and
• a controller coupled to the transceiver and configured to:
• receive, from an NSS MnS consumer entity, a request message for a feasibility check of at least one network slicing related requirement,
• perform the feasibility check to determine whether the at least one network slicing related requirement is satisfied, and
• transmit, to the NSS MnS consumer entity, a response message,
• wherein, in case that a result of the feasibility check is infeasible, the response message includes at least one recommended requirement for adjusting the at least one network slicing related requirement of the NSS MnS consumer entity, the at least one recommended requirement being related to network slicing, and
• wherein the at least one recommended requirement is supported by the NSS MnS provider entity.

A method performed by a network slice subnet management service (NSS MnS) consumer entity in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:

• transmitting, to an NSS MnS provider entity, a request message for a feasibility check of at least one network slicing related requirement;
• receiving, from the NSS MnS provider entity, a response message, wherein, in case that a result of the feasibility check is infeasible, the response message includes at least one recommended requirement related to network slicing;
• and
• adjusting the at least one network slicing related requirement based on the at least one recommended requirement related to network slicing,
• wherein the at least one recommended requirement related to network slicing is supported by the NSS MnS provider entity.

A network slice subnet management service (NSS MnS) consumer entity in a wireless communication system, the NSS MnS consumer entity comprising:

• a transceiver;
• and
• a controller coupled to the transceiver and configured to:
• transmit, to an NSS MnS provider entity, a request message for a feasibility check of at least one network slicing related requirement
• receive, from the NSS MnS provider entity, a response message, wherein, in case that a result of the feasibility check is infeasible, the response message includes at least one recommended requirement related to network slicing, and
• adjust the at least one network slicing related requirement based on the at least one recommended requirement related to network slicing,
• wherein the at least one recommended requirement related to network slicing is supported by the NSS MnS provider entity.
