Abstract
Embodiments of this application provide a communication method and apparatus, and a storage medium. The communication method includes: determining a target buffer status report (BSR) format based on a result of comparison between a first identifier and a first value, where the first identifier is a largest logical channel group (LCG) identifier in LCG identifiers of LCGs having buffered data; and generating a BSR based on the target BSR format. Uplink transmission resources can be properly used to report a BSR.
Claims20
A communication method, comprising:
- determining a target buffer status report (BSR) format based on a result of comparison between a first identifier and a first value, wherein the first identifier is a largest logical channel group (LCG) identifier among LCG identifiers of LCGs having buffered data;
- and
- generating a BSR based on the target BSR format.
A communication apparatus, comprising at least one processor coupled to one or more memories storing programming instructions for execution by the at least one processor to perform operations comprising:
- determining a target buffer status report (BSR) format based on a result of comparison between a first identifier and a first value, wherein the first identifier is a largest logical channel group (LCG) identifier among LCG identifiers of LCGs having buffered data;
- generating a BSR based on the target BSR format;
- and
- sending the BSR to a network device.
