Abstract
An electronic apparatus including a communication interface; and a processor configured to obtain a first signal in an enhanced audio return channel (eARC) format based on a predetermined parameter, control the communication interface to transmit the obtained first signal to an external speaker, change the parameter based on receiving, through the communication interface, a first error signal corresponding to the first signal transmitted from the external speaker, obtain a second signal in the eARC format based on the changed parameter, and control the communication interface to transmit the obtained second signal to the external speaker.
Claims15
An electronic apparatus comprising:
- a communication interface;
- and
- a processor configured to:
- obtain a first enhanced audio return channel (eARC) signal in an eARC format based on a predetermined parameter corresponding to the eARC,
- control the communication interface to transmit the obtained first eARC signal to an external speaker,
- based on receiving, through the communication interface, a first error signal corresponding to the first eARC signal transmitted from the external speaker, change the parameter corresponding to the eARC,
- obtain a second eARC signal in the eARC format based on the changed parameter corresponding to the eARC, and
- control the communication interface to transmit the obtained second eARC signal to the external speaker.
A method of controlling of an electronic apparatus, the method comprising:
- obtaining a first enhanced audio return channel (eARC) signal in an eARC format based on a predetermined parameter corresponding to the eARC;
- transmitting the obtained first eARC signal to an external speaker;
- based on receiving a first error signal corresponding to the first eARC signal transmitted from the external speaker, changing the parameter corresponding to the eARC;
- obtaining a second eARC signal in the eARC format based on the changed parameter corresponding to the eARC;
- and
- transmitting the obtained second eARC signal to the external speaker.
