Balanced coding scheme

A network node for wireless communication, comprising:

• a memory;
• and
• one or more processors, coupled to the memory, configured to:
• transmit an indication of a configuration for balanced code communication, the configuration indicating parameters of signals of balanced code communications having sequences, within codewords, that balance;
• transmit a balanced code communication, wherein, to receive the balance code communication, the one or more processors are configured to:
• encode a codeword of the balanced code communication based at least in part on the configuration and based at least in part on using a balancing property of the balanced code communication, wherein the codeword is validated based at least in part on vectors of constellation points summing to zero;
• and
• transmit superimposed pilots on time and frequency resources shared with the balanced code communication.

A method of wireless communication performed by a user equipment (UE), comprising:

• receiving an indication of a configuration for balanced code communication, the configuration indicating parameters of signals of balanced code communications having sequences, within codewords, that balance;
• receiving, from a network node, a balanced code communication, the receiving comprising:
• decoding a codeword of the balanced code communication, wherein the codeword is validated based at least in part on vectors of constellation points summing to zero;
• and
• estimating one or more parameters of communicating with the network node based at least in part on the configuration and based at least in part on using a balancing property of the balanced code communication;
• and
• receiving superimposed pilots on time and frequency resources shared with the balanced code communication.

A method of wireless communication performed by a network node, comprising:

• transmitting an indication of a configuration for balanced code communication, the configuration indicating parameters of signals of balanced code communications having sequences, within codewords, that balance;
• transmitting a balanced code communication, the transmitting comprising:
• encoding a codeword of the balanced code communication based at least in part on the configuration and based at least in part on using a balancing property of the balanced code communication, wherein the codeword is validated based at least in part on vectors of constellation points summing to zero;
• and
• transmitting superimposed pilots on time and frequency resources shared with the balanced code communication.
