A fan/fixture box and adjustable brace for a ceiling fan electrical work box, in old work environments, includes a fan/fixture box and adjustable brace with a threaded rod. The adjustable brace has opposite mounting blocks at either end and a saddle brace which is inserted over and into the ceiling fan electrical box. The stable fan/fixture box and adjustable brace includes a pair of rectangular opposite end mounting blocks being configured with four sides, where the normally bottom edge has a predetermined fixed distance from a midpoint of a hole for said threaded rod, which said predetermined fixed distance is equal to the distance from the left and right-side edges, also in an equal distance from the hole for a wherein if one end mounting block topples over on its side edge, the threaded rod and adjustable brace will remain level and horizontal above the backside of the ceiling panel.
A stable fan/fixture box and adjustable brace for ceiling fan electrical boxes in old work environments where a said fan/fixture box must be mounted and stabilized above the backside of the ceiling, and where only a small hole can be made in the preexisting drywall or ceiling panel in order for an installer to carry and insert the fan/fixture box and adjustable brace into the small hole, without any visual access to the area above the preexisting drywall or ceiling panel, comprising:
A stable fan/fixture box and adjustable brace for ceiling fan electrical boxes in old work environments where a said fan/fixture box must be mounted and stabilized above the backside of the ceiling between a pair of adjacent ceiling studs, and where only a small hole can be made in the preexisting drywall or ceiling panel in order for an installer to carry and insert the fan/fixture box and adjustable brace into the small hole, without any visual access to the area above the preexisting drywall or ceiling panel, comprising:
