Information processing apparatus, information processing method, and computer readable recording medium for displaying information to a passenger at an airport

An information processing method comprising:

• acquiring facial image data of a passenger, who has disembarked from an aircraft, from an imaging device installed at an airport;
• acquiring identification information corresponding to the facial image data from a storage device in which identification information of the passenger, which includes flight information of the passenger, and the facial image data of the passenger are stored in association with each other in advance, the flight information comprising a destination of the passenger, a transit point of the passenger, and an arrival time and a departure time of the aircraft of the passenger;
• determining, based on the flight information included in the identification information, whether the airport where the imaging device that captured the passenger is installed is the destination of the passenger, and based on a determination that the airport is not the destination, determine the passenger to be a transit passenger;
• determining a tour suitable for the passenger, based on the acquired identification information, a degree of congestion of a sightseeing area, weather at the sightseeing area, an event being held at the sightseeing area, and traffic conditions around the sightseeing are, based on the passenger being determined as the transit passenger;
• and
• displaying information of the determined tour on a display device.

A non-transitory computer readable recording medium including a program recorded thereon, the program including instructions that cause a computer to carry out:

• acquiring facial image data of a passenger, who has disembarked from an aircraft, from an imaging device installed at an airport;
• acquiring identification information corresponding to the facial image data from a storage device in which identification information of the passenger, which includes flight information of the passenger, and the facial image data of the passenger are stored in association with each other in advance, the flight information comprising a destination of the passenger, a transit point of the passenger, and an arrival time and a departure time of the aircraft of the passenger;
• determining, based on the flight information included in the identification information, whether the airport where the imaging device that captured the passenger is installed is the destination of the passenger, and based on a determination that the airport is not the destination, determine the passenger to be a transit passenger;
• determining a tour suitable for the passenger, based on the acquired identification information, a degree of congestion of a sightseeing area, weather at the sightseeing area, an event being held at the sightseeing area, and traffic conditions around the sightseeing are, based on the passenger being determined as the transit passenger;
• and
• displaying information of the determined tour on a display device.
