Abstract
A charging member includes a support member, an elastic layer provided on the support member, and a surface layer provided on the clastic layer, in which the surface layer contains a resin, conductive particles, and non-conductive inorganic particles, and the surface layer contains 5 parts by mass or more and 40 parts by mass or less of the non-conductive inorganic particles relative to 100 parts by mass of the resin.

A charging member comprising:
- a support member, an elastic layer provided on the support member, and a surface layer provided on the elastic layer,
- wherein the surface layer contains a resin, conductive particles, and non-conductive inorganic particles;
- and
- the surface layer contains 5 parts by mass or more and 40 parts by mass or less of the non-conductive inorganic particles relative to 100 parts by mass of the resin.
