Abstract
A projection method includes generating projection size information including at least one of first size information representing a distance between two dots included in a first projection image displayed on a projection surface, and second size information representing an area of a first image included in the first projection image based on information output from a sensor, and displaying a second projection image including an image showing a numerical value represented by the projection size information on the projection surface.
Claims12
A projection method comprising:
- generating projection size information including at least one of first size information representing a distance between a first dot and a second dot included in a first projection image displayed on a projection surface, and second size information representing an area of a first image included in the first projection image based on information output from a sensor;
- and
- displaying a second projection image including an image showing a numerical value represented by the projection size information on the projection surface, wherein:
- the first dot corresponds to one of vertices of the first projection image,
- the second dot corresponds to another of vertices of the first projection image, and
- the second projection image includes:
- a fourth image of a diagram having a longitudinal direction that extends along a direction in which the first dot and the second dot are aligned;
- and
- a character string representing the numerical value of the first size information, and
- the character string is displayed along the fourth image.

A projection system comprising:
- a processing device;
- a sensor;
- and
- a projection mechanism, wherein
- the processing device is configured to execute
- generating projection size information including at least one of first size information representing a distance between a first dot and a second dot included in a first projection image displayed on a projection surface, and second size information representing an area of a first image included in the first projection image based on information output from the sensor, and
- controlling the projection mechanism to display a second projection image including an image showing a numerical value represented by the projection size information on the projection surface, wherein:
- the first dot corresponds to one of vertices of the first projection image,
- the second dot corresponds to another of vertices of the first projection image, and
- the second projection image includes:
- a fourth image of a diagram having a longitudinal direction that extends along a direction in which the first dot and the second dot are aligned;
- and
- a character string representing the numerical value of the first size information, and
- the character string is displayed along the fourth image.
