Abstract
The present application relates to a novel branched-chain amino acid aminotransferase variant that decreases the amount of by-products generated during the production of L-isoleucine, a polynucleotide encoding the variant, and a vector comprising the polynucleotide, a microorganism comprising the variant, polynucleotide or vector, and a method for producing L-isoleucine using the microorganism.
Claims4
A branched-chain amino acid aminotransferase variant having 90% or more sequence identity to the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:1, wherein an amino acid corresponding to position 31 is substituted with leucine, an amino acid corresponding to position 98 is substituted with isoleucine, an amino acid corresponding to position 256 is substituted with valine, or a combination thereof in the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 1.
