Abstract
A system and method for disinfecting one or more components include one or more ultraviolet (UV) lamps. The one or more UV lamps include one or more UV light emitters configured to emit UV light, and a mounting interface removably securable to a securing mount.

A system for disinfecting one or more components, the system comprising:
- an ultraviolet (UV) lamp, wherein the UV lamp comprises:
- a housing;
- one or more UV light emitters retained by the housing, the one or more UV light emitters configured to emit UV light;
- a communication device retained by the housing;
- one or more sensors retained by the housing;
- a position detector retained by the housing;
- a memory retained by the housing;
- a control unit retained by the housing, wherein the control unit is in communication with the one or more UV light emitters, the communication device, the one or more sensors, the position detector, and the memory, wherein the control unit is configured to control operation of the one or more UV light emitters;
- and
- a mounting interface on or within the housing, the mounting interface removably securable to a securing mount.

A method for a system for disinfecting one or more components, the system comprising:
- an ultraviolet (UV) lamp, wherein the UV lamp comprises:
- a housing;
- one or more UV light emitters retained by the housing, the one or more UV light emitters configured to emit UV light;
- a communication device retained by the housing;
- one or more sensors retained by the housing;
- a position detector retained by the housing;
- a memory retained by the housing;
- a control unit retained by the housing, wherein the control unit is in communication with the one or more UV light emitters, the communication device, the one or more sensors, the position detector, and the memory, wherein the control unit is configured to control operation of the one or more UV light emitters;
- and
- a mounting interface on or within the housing, the mounting interface removably securable to a securing mount, the method comprising removably securing the UV lamp to the securing mount.

A system for disinfecting one or more components, the system comprising:
- a first subset of one or more ultraviolet (UV) lamps secured within a first area;
- a second subset of one or more UV lamps secured within a second area that is spaced apart from the first area, wherein each UV lamp in the first subset and the second subset comprises:
- a housing;
- one or more UV light emitters retained by the housing, the one or more UV light emitters configured to emit UV light;
- a communication device retained by the housing;
- one or more sensors retained by the housing;
- a position detector retained by the housing;
- a memory retained by the housing;
- a first control unit retained by the housing, wherein the first control unit is in communication with the one or more UV light emitters, the communication device, the one or more sensors, the position detector, and the memory;
- and
- a mounting interface on or within the housing, the mounting interface removably securable to a respective securing mount;
- and
- a second control unit in communication with the first control unit of each of the UV lamps, the second control unit configured to control operation of the one or more UV light emitters in each of the UV lamps in the first subset and the second subset.
