A topical cosmetic composition characterized by consisting of from 0.1 to 3% salicylic acid, 0.2 to 2% pyrrolidone carboxylic acid zinc salt, and 0.1 to 3% Candida saitoana extract, and one or more cosmetically acceptable excipients;
- wherein the cosmetically acceptable excipients are selected from the class of:
- solvents, humectants, emulsifiers, emollients, preservatives, skin conditioners, skin protectors, denaturing agents, perfumes, antioxidants, chelating agents, dyes and buffers.
