Abstract
An adjustable desk with a desk platform and at least one leg that is configured to support the desk platform and allow a user to adjust the height of the desk platform. Each leg has a base and a support. The base has a first upper pivot, a first lower pivot, a second upper pivot, and a second lower pivot. The support is coupled to the desk platform and has a top pivot and a bottom pivot. Each leg also has an upper linkage and a lower linkage that each joins the base to the support through a first link and a second link pivotally coupled to the first link. The first links are coupled to the base and the second links are coupled to the support. The second links are pivotally and slidably coupled to the base at the second upper pivot and the second lower pivot, respectively.

An adjustable desk, comprising:
- a desk platform having an adjustable height;
- and
- at least one leg configured to support the desk platform and allow a user to adjust the height of the desk platform, each leg of the at least one leg comprising:
- a base having a first upper pivot, a first lower pivot, a second upper pivot, and a second lower pivot, wherein each of the second upper pivot and the second lower pivot comprises an elongated track;
- a support fixedly coupled to the desk platform and having a top pivot and a bottom pivot;
- and
- an upper linkage and a lower linkage each joining the base to the support, wherein each of the upper linkage and the lower linkage individually comprises a first link and a second link pivotally coupled to the first link at a first joint;
- wherein the first links of the upper linkage and the lower linkage are pivotally coupled to the base at the first upper pivot and the first lower pivot, respectively, the second links of the upper linkage and the lower linkage are pivotally coupled to the support at the top pivot and the bottom pivot, respectively, and the second links of the upper linkage and the lower linkage are coupled to the base at the elongated tracks of the second upper pivot and the second lower pivot, respectively, wherein each of the elongated tracks is configured to allow the second links to pivot and slide with respect to the base.
An adjustable desk, comprising:
- a desk platform having an adjustable height;
- and
- at least one leg configured to support the desk platform and allow a user to adjust the height of the desk platform, each leg of the at least one leg comprising:
- a base having a first upper pivot, a first lower pivot, a second upper pivot, and a second lower pivot;
- a support fixedly coupled to the desk platform and having a top pivot and a bottom pivot;
- and
- an upper linkage and a lower linkage each joining the base to the support, wherein each of the upper linkage and the lower linkage individually comprises a first link and a second link pivotally coupled to the first link at a first joint;
- wherein the first links of the upper linkage and the lower linkage are pivotally coupled to the base at the first upper pivot and the first lower pivot, respectively, the second links of the upper linkage and the lower linkage are pivotally coupled to the support at the top pivot and the bottom pivot, respectively, and the second links of the upper linkage and the lower linkage are pivotally and slidably coupled to the base at the first upper pivot and the second lower pivot, respectively.
An adjustable desk, comprising:
- a desk platform having an adjustable height;
- and
- at least one leg configured to support the desk platform and allow a user to adjust the height of the desk platform, each leg of the at least one leg comprising:
- a base having a first upper pivot, a first lower pivot, a second upper pivot, and a second lower pivot;
- a support coupled to the desk platform and having a top pivot and a bottom pivot;
- and
- an upper linkage and a lower linkage each joining the base to the support, wherein each of the upper linkage and the lower linkage individually comprises a first link and a second link pivotally coupled to the first link at a first joint;
- wherein the first links of the upper linkage and the lower linkage are coupled to the base at the first upper pivot and the first lower pivot, respectively, the second links of the upper linkage and the lower linkage are coupled to the support at the top pivot and the bottom pivot, respectively, and the second links of the upper linkage and the lower linkage are coupled to the base at the second upper pivot and the second lower pivot, respectively.
